Ultra-Narrow Linewidth Laser
The 780 nm Narrow Linewidth Laser integrates a low-noise seed source, low-noise fiber amplification technology, and high-efficiency frequency doubling. It delivers an output power exceeding 2 W with a linewidth under 5 kHz and a 24-hour frequency drift below 100 MHz.
Its all-fiber design makes the laser highly insensitive to ambient temperature fluctuations and mechanical vibrations, making it an ideal light source for entangled source generation, laser cooling of atoms, atomic quantum manipulation, and rubidium (Rb) atom detection. High output power enables a larger number of cold atoms, broader light-atom interaction areas, and more uniform optical forces. Low frequency drift ensures longer and more stable Doppler-free frequency locking to Rb atoms. Ultra-narrow linewidth significantly reduces atomic detection noise to achieve higher signal-to-noise ratios (SNR). Furthermore, its robust environmental stability is of vital importance in applications such as atomic clocks, atomic magnetometers, as well as atomic interferometer-based gravimeters, gyroscopes, and gravity gradiometers.
