Single-Photon Interference Module
The Single-Photon Interference Experimental Module is a sub-module of the quantum entanglement system. It utilizes the quantum entanglement system as a "heralded single-photon source" to generate single photons. In the single-photon interference experiment, the module directs one channel of the generated single photons into a Michelson interferometer. By measuring the photon detection probability at the output and adjusting the optical path length of one of the interferometer arms, users can observe the phenomenon of single-photon interference through changes in photon counts.
This module helps experimenters gain a deep understanding of single-photon interference principles and intuitively verify quantum interference phenomena. It is highly suitable for foundational teaching and laboratory construction in university quantum optics and quantum information courses, effectively supporting talent cultivation and scientific research in related fields.
