Vortex Beam Interference System

          

In addition to spin angular momentum, vortex beams possess orbital angular momentum (OAM) characterized by a unique helical (vortex) wavefront. This system generates vortex beams using q-plates and enables users to explore their properties through interference with plane waves, spherical waves, and other vortex beams of varying topological charges. Furthermore, the system supports high-precision measurement of wedge-plate thickness using vortex beam interference, as well as Controlled-NOT (CNOT) gate experiments using q-plates for polarization control—providing hands-on experience with vortex beam applications in precision measurement and quantum information science.
